UK COVID-19 Vaccination - 1 Year On

UK COVID-19 Vaccination - 1 Year On

The 8th of December 2021 marked one whole year of UKGov pumping as many COVID-19 vaccines into the people as they could. Let's take a look at some claims, this one in Ireland:

Health Minister Robin Swann's message to those unvaccinated one year after first jab was delivered, Belfast Live, 8th of December 2021.

Health Minister Robin Swann stated:

"The overwhelming majority of people in Northern Ireland recognise the importance of vaccination with nine out of 10 adults here now vaccinated ... Vaccination remains the single most important thing we can do to protect ourselves from serious illness and it will also reduce the chances of you passing the virus ..."

Let's put the claim "reduce the chances of you passing the virus" to the test:

1 year on in UK vaccination against COVID-19 and more cases than pre-vaccination.

A year ago to the day on the 8th of December 2020 there were a reported 15,271 cases. On the 6th of December 2021 there were 51,262 cases. That is 3.4 times more cases. How can vaccination "reduce the chances of you passing the virus". The data shows it has in fact increased the chances of passing it on.

And consistently more cases. The block of new daily cases from June 2021 onwards was consistently above 25k cases per day. And June, July and August typically considered the summer months and non-flu season. How can that be?

Compare December 2019 through to September 2020 against December 2020 through to September 2021. There is a case to argue that vaccination and other measures made the situation worse.

It's their data and read it as it is. It is nothing to be proud of.
