Animal Rights - Do They Have Any?

In the article The Truth About Animal Farming in Australia - the Dominion Movement Documentary, I made reference to the following article about a man who underwent a heart transplant in which the heart was that of a pig:

Man gets genetically-modified pig heart in world-first transplant, BBC News, 11th of January 2022.

That was back in January 2022. Two months on and the human with the pig's heart was still walking around:

Xenotransplantation: Are pigs the future of organ transplants?, BBC News, 12th of March 2022.

Unfortunately, the pig wasn't.

I view the use of animal organs for human transplants as nothing more than one of the latest forms of human sickness. No creature asked to be brought into this horrible world, and let alone to be farmed and eaten or farmed to be stripped of its vital organs.

Most people have never given too much thought to farming and never viewed it as a form of sickness. Like most things on this planet, we are the only animal that farms other animals. It could be argued that you and me were forced into this world to work, to be future producers of baby humans. but few would view such sentiments as anything but daft or the words of an anti-natalist. But, what about if humans were being farmed for their work, offpsring, bodily food and organs? There'd be an outcry, but when it's non-humans - no problem.

As I say - it's a sickness of our species the way in which we treat other lifeforms. I don't have a problem with humans murdering other humans but when it crosses into the mistreatment of non-humans then we have gone too far. But, we've been doing this since the dawn of the human race and just getting better and more efficient at it as future generations are brainwashed, hoodwinked and inherit the sickness.
