COVID-19 and Project Fear

This book is a collection of short sections written throughout the outbreak of COVID-19 at the start of 2020, as the disease unfolded. It is an attempt to try and capture the mood felt by the people as the number of cases and deaths steadily increased and the people saw their freedom and liberty evaporate.

The UK government tackled the outbreak by way of an Act of Parliament, draconian measures of ordering its people to stay at home, not to go to work, telling them what they could and could not buy, while all the time the economy was driven over the edge of a cliff.

The book attempts to capture the sense of fear injected into people by a government propaganda machine, the hypocrisy and double standards of the situation, and most importantly expose the amateurishness of the British government in its handling of the COVID-19 outbreak.
